HallowEEn
There is no greater joy than Halloween in this house...especially for me in choosing costumes. They get to be Iron Man, A Pirate, Princess Sophia any day they want to, but Halloween is allll mine. Ezekiel's first:
Lou Ferrigno as The Hulk
It was a big hit.
The following year Escher joined us and together they were...
Albert Einstien and E = M.C. Escher
This night Ezekiel got so scared of one house that he made a sound I'm not sure if I have ever heard a human make. It was a yell that bubbled up from his belly and he RAN away...dressed like this...I laughed.
This year, I even made their costumes with the help of my sister, Rachel. Which included searching the globe for a todder sized wig that would look right. (It ended up being a princess wig that I had to cut significantly) Can you believe that NO 70's gold lamé toddler outfits exist for purchase?! I was outraged, too.
If you have not seen The Barry Gibb Talk Show on Saturday Night Live, I highly suggest you give it a try.

It'll be funnier if you watch it first.
I Present to you...THE BABY GIBB TALK SHOW! ....Robin, do you have anything else to add? "No, I don't."
I taught them the song and Ezekiel sang it (complete with dance moves) watching THIS go door to door made all my dreams come true.
Ezekiel kept exclaiming "YOU STAY HERE, GUYS...I WILL BE RIGHT BACK....I WILL DO IT MYSELF."
Playing the Barry Gibb station on Pandora caused some impromtu danceparties, cuz Escher can't stop his moves when he hears a tune. It was magic.
I hope Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake someday know how much joy they brought us all this night.
